The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-COM) held its 1999 Student Awards Ceremony and Reception the evening of April 21 in Irvine Hall 194. Among the award recipients were Assistant Professor of Family Medicine Dale Pratt-Harrington, D.O., who also hosted the evening, first-year student George Abate, and second-year students Katay Bouttamy and Nicole Barylski.
Award recipients were selected by students and faculty. Categories included Peer Academic Support, The Outstanding Basic Science Student Award, Family Medicine, The Class Advocate Awards, The Outstanding Osteopathic Mentor Award, Outstanding Basic Science and Clinical Faculty, Class Advocate, Student Association Auxiliary Award, Professional Activities Award, Outstanding Tutor Award, and Individual Recognition Awards.
