Program to Offer Master's Degree in Political Science

A new program leading to a master's degree in political science with a concentration in public policy and administration will be offered on Ohio University's Athens campus, starting fall quarter 1999.

All courses will be offered one evening a week from 6-10 p.m. on the Athens campus. Two informational meetings will be held April 5 and April 7 at 7 p.m. in Room 233 of Bentley Hall. The meetings will cover admission procedures, the program requirements and the sequence of courses to be offered.

Free immunizations also will be provided at area kindergarten registrations as follows: Athens East Elementary, April 12, from 8 a.m. to noon; Athens West, April 12, from 1 to 5 p.m.; Nelsonville-York, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Morrison, April 19, 8 to 11 a.m.; Chauncey, April 19, from 12:45 to 5 p.m.; Trimble, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; The Plains, April 26, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; and Coolville, April 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 1-800-844-2654.
