Six Classified Employees Recognized for
Outstanding Work
Six
Ohio University employees have been named
winners of the 1999 Outstanding Employee
Awards.
The
award recipients are J. Wesley Clark,
police officer, Division of Campus Safety;
John Dillon II, zone maintenance
specialist, Facilities Management; Kelley
M. Jolley, senior secretary, College of
Engineering and Technology; Ruth A.
Russell, cook, Food Service; Carolyn S.
Sinclair, employee benefits specialist,
University Human Resources; Philip A.
Wilson, communication network specialist,
Zanesville campus.
Ohio
University President Robert Glidden
presented each recipient with a $500 check
and a framed certificate at an awards
ceremony Friday in the 1804 Room of Baker
Center.
University
Human Resources sponsors the annual
awards, which have recognized
distinguished service by campus employees
for 14 years. Eligible employees are
nominated by any faculty, staff member or
student and must be full- or part-time
permanent civil service or bargaining unit
employees with a minimum of five
consecutive years of service.
The
selection committee includes classified
staff, administrators and faculty from the
Athens and regional campuses.
