Ohio University Career Fair October
19
The
Office
of Career
Services
will host a Career Fair on Tuesday, Oct
19, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the
Convocation Center. With 132 organizations
scheduled to attend, this will be the
largest Career Fair in the history of Ohio
University.
Ohio
University students interested in
attending should dress professionally and
bring copies of their resume. Students are
encouraged to research organizations by
logging on to the Career
Services Web
Page
and clicking on the Career
Fairs
selection under "Finding
a Job."
Dr.
Thomas Korvas, Director of Career Services
said, "The Ohio University Career fair is
an excellent opportunity for students from
all majors to interact with
representatives from a variety of
organizations, to discuss their career
goals, explore internship and career
opportunities."
A
large and diverse group of employing
organizations expressed interest in
participating in this year's program. A
sample of these organizations includes:
Andersen Consulting, Bank One Corporation,
BF Goodrich, Cincinnati Bell, ComDoc Inc.,
CoreComm, Elder-Beerman, Ernst &
Young, the Hamilton County Department of
Human Services, IBM, LTV Steel Company,
Pricewaterhouse-Coopers, and Procter &
Gamble.
Shuttle
service will be provided from Baker Center
to the Convocation Center. For more
