OHIO UNIVERSITY, GET YOUR MICROSOFT SOFTWARE

ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University is one of a group of Ohio schools that entered into a site license agreement with Microsoft Corporation. Ohio University students may purchase a copy of Microsoft's Office Professional 2000 (Windows) or Office 98 (Mac) on CD for $10. You may purchase only one CD, which will be valid for two installations.

To purchase the software, you must be a currently enrolled Ohio University student; bring your valid Ohio University ID and $10 (cash only) to Baker Center's Information Desk between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Also, you will have to sign a student license agreement form. You can preview a PDF of this form (you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader), but you will sign the form when you pick up your copy of the software. If you are unable to come on one of the dates listed above, sales to students will continue at the Baker Center Information Desk.

Faculty and staff may borrow an installation CD from Alden Library's Circulation Desk (4th floor) or obtain the software from their office's designated technical support staff. These CDs are valid for two installations, and faculty and staff members may use the software on their office and home computers as long as they are employed by Ohio University. The software will remain the property of Ohio University, and must be deleted if the employee leaves Ohio University.

The software will become available on the Regional Campuses starting Winter Quarter. Additional information will be distributed as it becomes available.
