GLIDDEN
& SUSANY TO APPEAR ON TODAY
Ohio
University President
Robert Glidden and John Susany, President of the
National
Alumni Board
are scheduled to appear on NBC's Today Show at
approximately 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19. Glidden and
Susany will be in New York to present Today host and
Ohio alumnus Matt Lauer with the Ohio University Alumni
Association's Medal of Merit. Lauer was selected to receive
the Medal of Merit, but is unable to attend the Alumni
Awards Celebration at which the award is typically
presented. Lauer completed his Bachelor's Degree in
Telecommunications
in June 1997, and returned to campus to collect his degree,
at which time he also gave the commencement address.
The Alumni
Awards Celebration will take place during Homecoming
Weekend
on Friday, October 22. Other honorees include:
