FOOTBALL TO SPONSOR "TAKE A KID TO THE GAME" AT UPCOMING
HOME GAMES
ATHENS,
Ohio -- Ohio University will sponsor "Take a Kid to a Game"
again this week for the home football
game against Kent on October 2. Children under 14 years old
will be admitted free with the purchase of an adult
ticket.
Free
tickets for youth can be picked up with the new ticket
purchases beginning at 5 p.m. on game day at Gate 1 or Gate
3 of Peden Stadium. Kickoff for both games is set for 7
p.m.
The "Take
a Kid to the Game" (TAKG) program is a national effort to
create awareness for NCAA Football and increase attendance
at local stadiums. The grassroots marketing campaign was
created by Host Communications, Inc.
to encourage alumni and fans to take their kids out to
stadiums and arenas to experience intercollegiate athletics.
