AAUW advances equity for women and girls
through advocacy, education, and research.
Since 1881, AAUW has been the nation’s leading voice
promoting education and equity for women and girls.
We have a nationwide network of nearly 100,000 members, 1,000 branches,
and 500 college/university institution partners. AAUW helps breaks
through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair
chance.
Founded in 1927, the
Athens Branch of AAUW has a long
and proud history.
We are looking forward to continuing our Edith A. Wray Scholarship, and
supporting local girls for Camp-Be-Wise.
Our Branch
meetings are informal, and we invite you to join us!
