Talking Women and Hiphop with Michaela angela Davis

Michaela angela Davis will lead a session that examines the roles of women in hiphop looking at images of women in hiphop. She will also focus on hiphop's ability to affect positive change in society.

Ursula Rucker will lead a session on spoken word poetry. In her session she will discuss the power of the spoken word and its relationship to hiphop.
