Building Education through the Arts and Transforming Society (B.E.A.T.S) hosts the 2nd annual Hiphop Expo, Saturday, April 17, 2010, 11:30 am-6:30 pm at Ohio University’s Grover Center.
This year’s expo, “When and Where I Enter: Women Beyond Gender Talk” will combine the creative elements of Hiphop into interactive hands-on sessions where participants will learn about and celebrate the positive contributions women have made and continue to make to Hiphop culture. Featured guests include cultural critic Michaela angela Davis and poet Ursula Rucker.
